The scientific name for the Green hydra is Chlorohydra Viridissma. The Hydra is a member of the Animalia kingdom, and the phylum Cnidaria. The Hydra is a multicellular organism that lives in fresh water. Hydra has two body layers, this is called diploblastic. The layers are made up of a gel called mesoglea. The outer membrane is called thee epidermis, and the inner layer is called the gastrodermis. The hydra's most interesting feature is that it can regenerate lost limbs.
